Press release: Erasmus+ project “TeC@ses”

Erasmus+ project “TeC@ses” strengthens vocational teachers for the digital age

The rapid digital transformation in the educational landscape, intensified by the Covid-19 pandemic, requires innovative approaches in vocational education and training. The new Erasmus programme launched in December 2023 international Erasmus+ project “Teaching case studies online: How to design and teach case studies in vocational schools” (TeC@ses) addresses precisely this issue.

The TeC@ses project focusses on strengthening teachers in the use of digital teaching methods and the design of practice-oriented and digitalised case studies. As part of the project, an e-learning tool is being developed that enables teachers to design and digitally improve case studies in a contemporary way. The tool also offers online-based training for teachers at vocational schools.

With interactive learning paths, practical examples and various formats such as videos, podcasts and exercises, the TeC@ses tool provides teachers with flexible further training. Educational experts and partners from vocational schools are involved in the evaluation to ensure effectiveness and take the needs of the target group into account.

The TeC@ses tool will be available in German, English, Finnish, Dutch and Czech and is intended to help make teachers fit for a digital and pre-vocational education landscape.
